Since the Volunteer Zambia project began we have recruited over 1000 students and staff volunteers from across the Wallace Group universities. We want YOU to stay involved after you leave the project.

If you want to make a lasting impact, you can support The Volunteer Zambia Foundation by donating or volunteering with our charity.

We are currently looking for volunteers to support The Volunteer Zambia Foundation in the following roles:

Finance Assistant

We are looking for a financial assistant to support our treasurer Sarah Harding. If you have experience or background in accounting or finance, please get in contact to find out more.

Sport Specific Volunteers

We are currently expanding the role of the charity and creating a sport specific strand to support coaches and volunteers out in Zambia. We are currently recruiting volunteers for netball and women’s football.

Online Knowledge Sharing Representatives

Interested in keeping in touch, improving the sustainability of the project and assisting next year’s students?  We are looking for a student to lead the online knowledge sharing groups for each sport to maintain contact between students and Zambian volunteers. This will help with communication to continue sharing skills and coaching drills throughout the whole year.

Alumni Representatives (x2)

The Wallace Group and The Volunteer Zambia Foundation have an exciting opportunity for 2 x outgoing, passionate and organised students to come on-board as Alumni Representatives.

The role will involve organising alumni reunions, social gatherings and fundraisers to support the on-going work in Zambia by The Volunteer Zambia Foundation.

The Alumni Representatives will also be responsible for communicating up and coming opportunities available within the Wallace Group and The Volunteer Zambia Foundation.
