New Chair of the Wallace Group

We are excited to announce that Ben O’Connell, Director of Sport at Cardiff Metropolitan University has recently been appointed Chair of the Wallace Group.

On his appointment, Ben said: “It is a huge privilege to take on the Chair role for the Wallace Group. Having been fortunate enough to visit Zambia last year, I left feeling inspired and committed to doing more to help support the great work and continue to develop life-changing experiences for our students.

“The project will be celebrating its 20th year in 2025, so I’m looking forward to working with colleagues and next year’s Cardiff Met cohort heading to the country to celebrate this momentous milestone.”
